Annual exam

HealthNet provides healthcare across your lifespan. We can see you from your first period through menopause and beyond. It is important you are seen every year to get your preventative exam. Our OB/GYN providers are a perfect complement to the general primary care providers all adults should have.

Your annual exam includes a breast exam and pap smear when needed. Pap smear frequency is determined by the last pap smear result and are not typically needed every year. We also discuss family planning or contraception and offer sexually transmitted infection (STI) testing.

We can refer you for a mammogram and work with primary care to make sure bone health assessments and colon cancer screening is ordered at the appropriate times. We can also do routine blood work to screen for diabetes, cholesterol, and more. If your test comes back abnormal, we can coordinate a primary care appointment.
