Free Rapid HIV Testing Offered on National HIV Testing Day June 27

HealthNet HIV Services is partnering with the John Boner Neighborhood Centers to offer free, rapid HIV testing on June 27, 2023 on National HIV Testing Day.

Testing, along with prize drawings, snacks and giveaways, will be offered from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Boner Center, 2236 E. 10th St. in Indianapolis. No appointment is needed. The confidential testing includes a finger prick with results available in about 5 minutes. 

 National HIV Testing Day is observed each year on June 27 to highlight the importance of HIV testing. One in eight people living with HIV are undiagnosed and don't realize that they have the virus. This year's theme, “Take the Test & Take the Next Step," emphasizes that knowing your HIV status helps you choose options to stay healthy.
