Registered Nurse
HealthNet seeks a full time RN to work in one of our 10 Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) primary care health centers located throughout Indianapolis.
The clinical nurse (RN) is accountable and responsible for the provision and coordination of competent, evidence-based care, which includes assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The clinical nurse participates in decision-making, teaching, mentoring, and collaboration with the multidisciplinary team to advance the patient plan of care, achieve outcomes and enhance operational efficiency.
Since 1968, HealthNet has played a vital role in providing access to affordable, quality health care to Indianapolis residents, many of whom are uninsured or underinsured and live below the federal poverty level. HealthNet is one of the largest FQHCs in the nation, serving more than 60,000 patients each year.

Qualifications/Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Requires current state of Indiana license as Registered Nurse.
- Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA. Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
- Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred. New ASN RNs hired after January 1, 2013, will be required to complete their BSN within 5 years from date of hire into this job.
- Requires that the RN has graduated from an accredited nursing program.
